Aberdeen, Scotland's third largest city, offers a range of shops, bars, galleries and museums, as well as our beach and beautiful parks. Step back in time as you wander around the picturesque 'old town'. Sample craft beers and ice cream from our local businesses, like Brewdog or Mackie's. If the sun is out, enjoy a stroll along the beach ending in the charming little village, Fittie.

Along the stunning Aberdeenshire coast, Stonehaven is the ideal spot for a day out for families, couples and friends alike. In the summer, take a dip in the open air swimming pool or why not try paddleboarding in the beautiful harbour? Stonehaven is home to one of the regions most notable attractions, Dunnottar Castle with it's stunning views. Why not treat yourself to a post-walk ice cream from the famous Aunty Betty's shop?

In the heart of Royal Deeside, Ballater is one of Scotland's most picturesque villages and is less than an hour drive from the hotel. Soak in the beautiful surroundings with a stroll through the village, stopping for a fine piece in The Bothy. If you are looking for a nice walk that even those with little legs can manage, why not take the kids to Muir of Dinnet?

DEESIDE DISTILLERY
Founded in 2012, Deeside is one of only a few Scottish distilleries to have been established by a brewery. Nestled within the picturesque town of Banchory, a 25-minute drive from the hotel, the distillery draws on its brewer's experience with barley roasts and grains such as rye and maize.
